Wipro, Tata Consultancy Get Outsourcing Orders From BP

NEW DELHI (Dow Jones)--Wipro Technologies, the global information technology services unit of Wipro Ltd. (507685.BY), said Wednesday it has received a five-year contract from BP PLC(BP).

Separately, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (532540.BY), India's largest software exporter by revenue, also said it has received an outsourcing order from BP. It didn't specify the value or the time-frame of the order.

Wipro said in a statement it will develop and maintain software systems for BP's fuel value chain and corporate business globally. It didn't disclose the contract value.
